Looking For Off Campus Housing With A Pet? What You Need to Know

Are you ready to find off campus housing? Or, do you plan on graduating soon and moving to a new city? We all know that looking for an apartment can be tough, but it’s even more difficult if you happen to have a pet.

Rental website HotPads says that across the nation, only about one-third of rental listings are marked as pet-friendly.

HotPads has ranked the top 10 metro areas by the number of pet-friendly apartments available. If you are looking for an apartment with your furry friend in Texas or Georgia, you’ll have pretty good odds of finding a place, but it will likely be a lot harder in places like Chicago, New York or Miami.

Here’s a look at how the different metro regions stack up.
