If you never speak up, you\u2019re never going to get what you want and this doesn\u2019t just pertain to work, it also applies to the rest of your life.<\/p>\n<p>No one is a mind reader unless you have psychic powers or you fell into a tub of radioactive goo and now you have amazing abilities and just because you have \u201cobvious body language\u201d, it doesn\u2019t mean that the other person is that perceptive.\u00a0 If there\u2019s anything that I learned about becoming an adult it\u2019s that you can\u2019t ever be afraid to get what you want and sometimes you need to ask people to get to your goals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/yoursash.define3.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2016\/04\/phone-1209230_960_720.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1583\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1583 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/yoursash.define3.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2016\/04\/phone-1209230_960_720.jpg\" alt=\"phone-1209230_960_720\" width=\"960\" height=\"640\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yoursash.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2016\/04\/phone-1209230_960_720.jpg 960w, https:\/\/www.yoursash.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2016\/04\/phone-1209230_960_720-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.yoursash.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2016\/04\/phone-1209230_960_720-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What if you had this amazing idea but you needed investors? Are you going to give up on this amazing opportunity because you were too afraid to get in contact with influential people? Or follow up because they didn&#8217;t respond after your 3rd email?<\/p>\n<p>What if there was an opening at the company you\u2019ve been dying to work for but you could only apply through a referral? Well, are you going to sit back and let that opportunity pass by or are you going to feverishly search on LinkedIn and Facebook and see if you know someone that works there?
