From the Pew Research Center, we\u2019ve compiled some statistics for you about the realities of newly college graduates in landing a decent job and how they will reflect the choices they made in college.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Here are some 5 interesting facts about recent college grads:<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>1. Only Roughly 56% of students receive their degrees in six years.<\/h4>\n<p>According to the National Student Clearinghouse, 2.4 million first-time college students enrolling in 2007 with the intent to obtain a degree had the highest completion rate (72.9%) at four-year, private, nonprofit schools, and the lowest (39.9%) at two-year public institutions.<\/p>\n<h4>2. Business is still the most popular type of degree.<\/h4>\n<p>The National Center for Education Services posted that about 20.5% of the 1.79 million bachelor&#8217;s degrees handed out in 2011-2012 were under Business. The least common degrees given out were in library science during that year were military science and applied sciences, and precision production.<\/p>\n<h4>3.
