\t\t\t\tRight now, CES is taking place in Las Vegas. What is CES you ask? Well, if we\u2019re being honest, it\u2019s pretty much a tech toy fair for adults, but according to the event\u2019s website it\u2019s “the world\u2019s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies.”<\/p>\n

Whatever you consider this event, there is no denying that it turns out some pretty cool gadgets, particularly for students. Here are some of our favorites that we hope to see hitting campuses near us in the near future.<\/p>\n

LG G Flex 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

This phone is not only flexible, it has also got a beautiful, sharp screen and contains the leading smartphone processor, the Snapdragon 810 chip. Look for it to soon be sold by Sprint.<\/p>\n

Whirlpool\u2019s Kitchen of the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n

Imagine a stove top surface that can tell you what is about to spoil in your fridge and then offer up recipes to cook to use those ingredients through an interactive backsplash. It\u2019s the kitchen of the future from Whirlpool. The major appliance brand debuted the kitchen at CES. The technology can also connect to social media and websites without any devices. It’s likely not going to come on the market, or to campus housing near you, until at least 2020.<\/p>\n

Selfie Anyone?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Heading to the sorority or fraternity party but need to stop for a quick selfie? Lenovo has debuted an light bulb accessory that snaps to your phone and gives you enough light to ensure your beautiful mug is crisp and clear.<\/p>\n

Curves Are In<\/strong><\/p>\n

Especially when it comes to your computer hardware. Samsung has created a curved computer monitor screen – SE790C monitor. It\u2019s almost the width of two standard monitors side by side. It gives studying (and streaming content to your computer or gaming) a whole new look.<\/p>\n

Roti Me<\/strong><\/p>\n

What college dorm or apartment couldn\u2019t use more Roti? That\u2019s Indian bread for anyone unfamiliar. And, with the Rotimatic you can have Roti whenever you like.
