Low Cost Meals On The Real!

A common misconception with healthy eating are that to eat healthy, you have to constantly buy new produce, prep food and that it’s very pricey and time consuming to make.

This couldn’t be further from the truth. Eating healthy is often a matter of just stocking your refridgerator or pantry well and then setting your diet on auto pilot with just a limited amount of healthy and good foods to consume. With the right mix of nutritious foods and some savvy shopping, you’ll also likely save up $ versus eating out too.

Check out this post from the Simple Dollar on how to make bean burgers (super cheap and healthy)

And also Tim Ferriss’ book the 4 Hour Body on a unique diet that’s starting to gain some traction online.

The Perfect Robot for College Students?

Healthy Student Breakfast

This article about the Japanese robot, the Twendy-One, was in the Washington Post earlier today. Basically, this robot can do a lot of things, including fetch items from the fridge! Now think about how great this would be for the typical college student…running late for class, or even better yet for a fraternity house!
The downside is that it won’t be available until 2015 and comes with a hefty price tag of about $200,000.

So, until then. Cup of Noodles it is!
It’s amazing what you can find on Youtube nowadays. Here’s a recipe on how to prepare Ramen that actually seems pretty good!
